Weekly Blessings: Week 56: Price Tag

I wanted to share this clip I found on Facebook of Lecrae talking about our value in Christ. I’m not gonna go into detail because I really want you to watch the video; it really blessed me.

 This video was so deep to me because it’s simple, but it’s true at the same time! God tells us this exact thing in His Word:

1 Corinthians 6:20 – For God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

1 Corinthians 7:23 – God paid a high price for you, so don’t be enslaved by the world.

1 Peter 1:18-19 – For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value.

Revelation 5:9 – And they sang a new song with these words: “You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it.For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.

So many times God tells us how precious we are and we still can’t even fathom how much we are worth to Him. God is truly amazing! He sacrificed so much for us – we have no choice but to live our lives for Him! We are children of the king; we need to start acting as such!

1 Peter 2:9 – But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
