I like pears, but I never considered them to be a part of any meal outside of breakfast or dessert.

That was until I discovered The Pear Cookbook: 70 Delicious Recipes for Cooking with Pears, From Beloved Classics to Inspired Innovations by Yuval Bar-Ner!

This book comes with a wide variety of recipes centering around pears that really showcase the versatility of the fruit. I think this can be a great asset for people who may not be into eating fruit and want to find a way to incorporate it into their diets. I also think this would be a great way to get children to eat more fruit. The book doesn’t make pears or cooking boring – it turns everything up a notch and makes cooking more accessible for everyone!

Recipes in the book include:

Japanese crispy tempura pears

According to the book’s Amazon page, Yuval Bar-Ner is known as “The Pear Man!” He also has his own cooking show! Needless to say, the man knows his way around the kitchen, and he knows a thing or two about pears!

Who knew you could do so much with pears? And there are tons of even more interesting pear recipes in the book to choose from!

I plan to do a recipe review on some of the recipes, so stay tuned for those posts!

Overall, I would give this book five stars! It’s well put together, many recipes are easy to get ingredients for, and it’s just exciting to challenge your tastebuds in this way!

Are you a pear fan? Do you like trying out new recipes? Let me know in the comments!
