In My Opinion: DU Battery Saver

I know I’ve been doing a couple of product reviews lately, so I decided to switch it up a little bit and review some things that I found interesting and am not necessarily required to do a review on.
First up is the DU Battery Saver!

Now that you see what they said, let’s discuss my experience.
Now before this app, I had played around with a few battery saving apps, but none of them really ever worked much for me(GalaxyS4 Active owner here) – as a result, my expectations of this app weren’t that high. However, this app actually did help for the most part! My phone really did last longer(only by maybe an extra 15-20 minutes, but hey – it still lasted longer!
Although the app did it’s job for the most part, I wasn’t a huge fan of the little thing in the notifications, but that’s just me.

For me, the perfect app would give me a notification that it saved me battery life – I would be able to clear it out of my notifications bar and keep it moving. But again, maybe I’m too picky.
I did like how it allowed you to customize how it saved your battery though. You could either choose from one of their options or go into “My mode” and pick and choose what you would like to cut off or keep on. You can see what I mean in the screenshots below:
Overall, I’m not sure if I’d give the product 5 stars – maybe like 4.3-ish? This product may be good for people who just use their phone for the basics – talk, text, and internet. If you’re like me where my job centers around my phone, then depending on the type of phone you have, this may not be the best one for you. But don’t take my word for it – try it out! It’s a free app – what do you really have to lose?
