25 Songs, 25 Days (Day 1 – A Song From Your Childhood)

Hey guys! Long-time no see, huh?

I’ve missed you guys! Have you missed me? I hope so!

I wanted to start off my return to blogging with some fun, so for the next 25 days, I will be participating in the “25 Songs, 25 Days” Challenge. I saw this post on Facebook where you have to share a song that matches a prompt for 25 days and I couldn’t help but join in on the fun!

So today’s prompt is, “A song from your childhood.”

I grew up surrounded by all different types of music, so my childhood was full of different songs. But one song that I used to love when I was little was “I Love Your Smile” by Shanice.

I’m not exactly sure what it was about this particular song, but I could listen to it for hours and still sing and dance to it like I was hearing it for the first time!
And when I saw the video, I thought she just so pretty and watching how much fun she had in the video singing and just being all smiley made me love the song just that much more!
While researching the song for this post, I didn’t realize that this song had been out for 3 years by the time I was born, so this song was pretty old by the time I fell in love with it! Wow….!
