I’ll be honest, I typically don’t read books that involved romance and love triangles, but this one changed my mind!
Ex-Ray by Cheryl Robinson is the story of Sarita Saint, a young woman who has married the love of her life, Ray, in 1987. Sarita thought this was her happily ever after, until Ray suddenly disappears after the two only being married for a year.
It turned out that Ray had ran off with another woman and started a new life. Just that quickly, Sarita’s life changed completely!
Sarita went on to try and move on with her life, learning that you cannot judge a book by its cover. And little did she know that at the same time, Ray was going through the same thing.
The two eventually wind up crossing paths once again to some crazy revelations that will change both their lives once again.
…riveting, isn’t it?
I don’t want to give everything, so I’ll leave it there. But you should definitely go out and purchase this book!
Ex-Ray by Cheryl Robinson was really a great book. You would think that it was just a basic story, but there were a ton of twists and turns I didn’t see coming! I didn’t want to put the book down!
Sarita was a great character and my favorite because of how much she was able to overcome, despite all of the heartbreak she had gone through. Watching her being able to find her voice and inner strength was really inspiring and made you proud of her like she had been your best friend!
I can honestly say that there wasn’t a section or scene in this book that I didn’t like. Cheryl Robinson really is an excellent writer. She was able to create this whole world and all of these fictional people, yet was still able to draw you into their world, get to know them, and bring you along this crazy, yet relatable roller coaster ride that kept you turning the pages!
How would I rate Ex-Ray by Cheryl Robinson?
