Weekly Blessings: Week 76: God’s Promises

Good morning!

This morning is another post where I just want to encourage you in these last few weeks left in 2016.
Today’s inspiration came from a verse in a pack of cards I received from In Touch Ministries:
Daily dwell on God’s promises to you. Hide them in your heart and always remember, “Not one word has failed of all His good promise.”

I instantly fell in love with this scripture (1 Kings 8:56) because it really hit home for me. This scripture is God saying that, no matter what, if God said He’s going to do, He’s going to do it! Every single word that God says is his bond and He won’t stop until His word is fulfilled.
If God promised you that business, He’s going to give it to you.
If God promised you that ministry, He’s going to give it to you.
If God promised restoration in your marriage, He’s going to give it to you.
If God promised you generational deliverance, He’s going to give it to you.
All you have to do is trust and believe! That’s it. God just wants you to have faith!
Yes, sometimes life comes and knocks us down or we get discouraged when things don’t go exactly as we planned, but God told us in Psalm 119:11 to hide His word in our hearts.
Those things that God told you and promised you, hide those things in your heart. Always keep them in the back of your mind. Because in due season, you will get it. You just have to keep the faith.
I’m not sure who I’m talking to, but I know that there is someone out there reading this that needed to hear this today.
God has your back. He hasn’t abandoned His promise to you. This is YOUR confirmation that that promise that you’ve been waiting so long for is on its way. You just have to keep believing. You’ve come too far to throw everything away now. Allow God to bless you the way He wants to, and you won’t regret it.

Have a great week, in Jesus’ name!
