Weekly Blessings: Week 57: YALE vs YOLO

I have another guest post to share with you this week!

Adriana, blogger at Alaska Mellifluous, allowed me to do a guest post on her blog! The post is entitled, “YALE vs YOLO, and it has actually become one of my more popular posts! The post basically talks about how wrong the acronym YOLO is for Christians and how YALE should become part of our vocabulary if we plan to see Jesus again. Here’s a preview of the post:

Do you ever wonder what would happen if you dropped dead right now? – morbid, I know. But it’s a thought, isn’t it?

You know that quote that says, “Only the good die young?” Well I’m here to tell you that that’s not the most accurate statement. There are plenty of bad people who left this earth early…

…YOLO, though not as popular an acronym as it used to be, is a trick of the enemy, in my opinion. If you’re Satan, of course you’ll only live once! When this world ends you’ll be cast into the lake of fire for eternity. So this life is all you got! Satan doesn’t want us to enjoy the life he left behind when he defied Christ, so he wants us to believe that this is the only life we’ll have. That’s why we should go out and do whatever we want, regardless of whether or not God is pleased with it. However, if you’re a Christian and have accepted Christ, you only have one life on this Earth, but you’ll have eternity in Heaven with Him.

And that’s all I’m going to show you! Head on over to Alaka’s blog to read the rest of my post; I promise, you don’t wanna miss it!
Have a great week, in Jesus’ name!
