Blogging 12 Days of Christmas: Day #11

Second to last day of the linkup! Bittersweet moment…

I’m not much a decorator, but I do love seeing how creative people can get with Christmas!

I was watching The Real the other day(great show;if you haven’t seen it, you’re missing out!) when I noticed that they were talking about how to decorate for the holidays without breaking the bank! And it’s easy for people like me who stink at decorating! I’ll give you a brief overview of the article, but for more information and pictures of the finished product, head on over to The Real!

1. Pillow Presents – For this first project, all you need is a pillow that you already have on your couch, a bow, and some ribbon that coordinates with it. Take the ribbon and wrap it around then pillow like it’s a present. You then take the bow and stick it in the middle of the pillow. There you have it – your pillow present!

2. Frosty the Fridge – For this one you need wrapping paper, construction paper, scissors, and tape. You first cut out two long strips of wrapping paper. Then take the construction paper to cut out circles and a triangle. You then make your shapes into that of the snowman and tape them to the refrigerator!

3. Candy Cane Vase – All you need for his project is a tin can, glue, and some candy canes! Take the candy canes and glue the backs of them to the tin can(glue the backs so the hook part of the candy canes are facing outward). Then, if you’d like, add a bow to add a little more to the vase. And there you go! Your candy cane vase!

Don’t forget to go check out The Real for pictures of the products discussed and more inspiration for the holidays!
