Weekly Blessings: Week 13

This week’s post will be fairly short on my end. I recently saw two videos on YouTube by Joyce Meyer. This first video is one of her sermons where she tells us to not give up! Look below to hear what she has to say:
This second video is entitled, “Trusting God When You Don’t Understand(Part 1).”
I don’t know if I’m just thinking really deep or what, but in my opinion, both of these sermons kind of go hand-in-hand. In the first video, Joyce makes reference to Proverbs 21:5, which says, “Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.” What exactly does that mean? Don’t try to develop your own shortcuts! Trust God and you’ll be just fine! Like she said in the first video, don’t be that kid that keeps asking, “Are we there yet?” Stop questioning God and just embrace the process! And just like in the second video, we won’t understand everything; sometimes we aren’t meant to understand everything God is doing. All we can do is trust that Him and keep it moving! I know it may be hard to believe at times, but God does have our best interest in mind. So, what exactly do I want you to get from these two sermons? Stop questioning God! Just let Him work!
Verse of the Week(Compliments of Micheal Fuller):
“But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” ~Isaiah 40:31

I love the verse that you shared from Isaiah.
I love it! I can remember the first time Joyce Meyer changed my thinking. It was year's ago and I was lying in bed like, "blah, blah, blah!" And I turned the channel and thought, "let's see what she is talking about."
She fell to her knees, spread her arms out and yelled, "Here I am God, just like I am!" It sent chills down my spine as I truly understood how God desires for us to come to him, just as we are.
Yes, if we wait on the Lord, He shall renew us in so many ways and His timing is perfect.
Thank you.
